Romania – History and Traditions

Day I – arrival in Bucharest (Romanian capital). From here the tourists begin the trip with our guide by coach. First we’ll have a tour of Bucharest. At noon we serve lunch and after that we’ll visit some of Bucharest’s museums, like “The Village’s Museum”, “Royal House” and “The Romanian Peasant Museum”. In the evening we have accommodation in Bucharest at 3* hotel.

Day II – after breakfast, we go to Brasov stronghold-city. Here we’ll have first a tour of the city and we’ll visit famous museums like “The Black Church”, “First Romanian School”, “St. Nicolae Church”, “The History Museum” and the old center of the city. We serve lunch and then we go to “Bran Castle”. We serve dinner to “Taverna Lupilor” restaurant and return to Brasov, where we accommodate.

Day III – after breakfast, we go to Busteni mountain resort where we can visit Sfinxul and Babele real monuments of nature and admire the mountainous landscape. At noon we, go to Sinaia town, where we’ll have lunch and visit Peles, Pelisor Castles and also Sinaia Monastery. We return to Brasov city where we’ll have dinner and accommodation.

Day IV – in the morning the tourists serve breakfast and go to Sighisoara citadel, the only still leaved medieval citadel from Romania. Here we can visit “The Clock Tower” unique in our country for it’s beautiful and interesting paintings. We also can visit “Weapons Room” and “Torture Room”. We serve lunch at “Dracula’s House” restaurant. After that we go in other region from Romania, Moldavia, where the religion and popular traditions take the place of mystique and mystery of Transylvania. We’ll have accommodation in Bistrita town at 3* hotel.

Day V – after breakfast we’ll have a tour of Bistrita town and after that we go to Bucovina region (Nord-Est Romania). We’ll have lunch in Vatra Dornei SPA resort and after that we’ll visit “Moldovita”, “Sucevita” and “Arbore” monasteries. We’ll have accommodation at 3* pension in Voronet village.

Day VI – after breakfast we’ll go and visit “Voronet”, “Humor” monasteries and also “Cacica” salt-mine. We’ll return in Voronet for accommodation and dinner.

Day VII – we leave beautiful Bucovina in order to return to the Romanian capital. In our road to Bucharest we visit “Neamtului” monastery. We pass the mountains on Bicaz defile. We make a stop at the “Red Lake” where we’ll have also lunch. Accommodation in Brasov city.

Day VIII – after breakfast we go to Bucharest where before leaving tourists can have a stop in order to make shopping.

Children:

0 – 7 have 50% discount from the adult tariff if they stay in the same room with their parents
7 – 12 have 30% discount from the adult tariff if they stay in the same room with their parents.

Note:

• The Damask tour-operator agency reserves its right to modify the touring program according to the weather, the local events, manifestations, the museums program and the tourists’ proposals. This will not affect the price, the quality or the initial structure of the touring program.
• The medical assurance of the tourist is obligatory in order to pass the frontier or/and for cases of accidents, diseases, death etc. during the time of travel.
• If the touring program is not made because of the tourist’s guilt, the agency is not responsible for the inconvenient. E.g.: not respecting the hour of the touring program, not smoking in the couch, bad attitude to the guide or couch driver.
• The tour-operator agency recommends that any claiming to be written and transmitted directly to the manager of the tour – operator agency, in order to have a quick and friendly solve of the requests, regarding unachieved or inadequate services and also the ones offered to a higher quantity and quality.
• Cancellation of the trip – if the number of tourists is less than the one mentioned in the offer – must be announced to the tourists with a minimum of 15 calendar days before the beginning of the tour.
