Maramures Individual Tour

Day I – arrival in Maramures area, in Viseul de Sus village. We will have accommodation and dinner.

Day II – after breakfast, we will go to Barsana Monastery, the highest wooden church in Romania and one of the most beautiful monasteries in the country. We will continue our visit with Sighetu Marmatiei city, where we can visit the Memorial Museum of the Communism Age. We will have lunch in Sighetu Marmatiei city and we will go to the “Happy Cemetery” in Sapanta. In the evening, will will return in Viseul de Sus and we will serve dinner.

Day III – after breakfast, we will have one trip with “Mocanita Train”, the transportation of wood and the carriage of forestry workers to their work places in Wassertal. There is a regular passenger train, driven by a steam locomotive, for the numerous visitors. Visitor groups charter for themselves their own special steam trains. In the evening, we will return at the pension.

Day IV – we will serve breakfast and we will go to Cluj Napoca city. Here, we will have one tour of the old town and we will visit the Orthodox Metropolitan Church, the bastion of the city, the Reformat Church, Matei Corvin Place etc. We will have lunch in one restaurant in the city and, in the evening, we will return at the pension.

Day V – we will serve breakfast and we will leave Romania in the morning.

Notes:

• The Damask tour-operator agency reserves its right to modify the touring program according to the weather, the local events, manifestations, the museums program and the tourists’ proposals. This will not affect the price, the quality or the initial structure of the touring program.
• The medical assurance of the tourist is obligatory in order to pass the frontier or/and for cases of accidents, diseases, death etc. during the time of travel.
• If the touring program is not made because of the tourists’ guilt, the agency is not responsible for the inconvenient. E.g.: not respecting the hour of the touring program, not smoking in the couch, bad attitude to the guide or couch driver.
• The tour-operator agency recommends that any claiming to be written and transmitted directly to the manager of the tour – operator agency, in order to have a quick and friendly solve of the requests, regarding unachieved or inadequate services and also the ones offered to a higher quantity and quality.
• Cancellation of the trip – if the number of tourists is less than the one mentioned in the offer – must be announced to the tourists with a minimum of 15 calendar days before the beginning of the tour.
