Madonna in Bucharest: The concert of 2009 in Romania

Madonna will sing for the first time in Romania, on 26 August 2009, in the Izvor Park in Bucharest. The show is part of world tour “Sticky & Sweet” that Madonna started in 2008 to promote her new album “Hard Candy”.
The show was seen by over 2.3 million people in 58 cities, which is one record for a solo artist being best seller tournament in history (281.6 million dollars).
Special guest: DJ Paul Oakenfold, the artist who opened all the Madonna’s concerts. It is has cooperated during his career with artists such as: Rolling Stones, U2, Justin Timberlake and Massive Attack.
