Romanian Monasteries Tour

Day I – arrival in Bucharest, where the tourists meet our guide and driver. Depending on their arrival in Bucharest, we can have a tour of the city. Here, we can visit the Metropolitan Church which dates from the second half of the 17th century, when the Voivode of Wallachia Constantin Serban (1654 – 1658) founded a church here. Since 1668 the monastery has become the metropolitan residence, and since 1925 it has become the residence of the Metropolitan Bishop, when the Romanian Orthodox Church was turned into a Metropolitan one. We go to the mountainous region Prahova Valley where we can visit o very beautiful cave, named “Ialomicioara Cave”, situated near Sinaia town. Depending on the free time left, we can go and visit two of the most famous and beautiful royal palaces from Romania: “Peles” and “Pelisor” Castles. Following on the Count Dracula’s Footsteps

  • Damask tour-operator agency reserves its right to modify the touring program according to the weather, the local events, manifestations, the museums program and the tourists’ proposals. This will not affect the price, the quality or the initial structure of the touring program.
  • The medical insurance of the tourist is obligatory in order to pass the frontier or/and for cases of accidents, diseases, death etc. during the time of travel.
  • If the touring program is not made because of the tourists’ guilt, the agency is not responsible for the inconvenient. E.g.: not respecting the hour of the touring program, smoking in the couch, bad attitude to the guide or couch driver.

  • Cancellation of the trip – if the number of tourists is less than the one mentioned in the offer – must be announced to the tourists with a minimum of 15 calendar days before the beginning of the tour.
