The famous Colombian singer, Shakira, announced her second concert in Romania, this time in Bucharest. She will perform on May 7, 2011, in Constitution Square. Shakira’s concert is part of “The Sun Comes Out” tour.
Shakira is the only artist who had four singles in the top 20 of best sold songs of the last decade, among which the famous “Hips Do not Lie”, the best sold single of the XXI century, hit which had been on the first position in charts of 55 countries!

Sting, live band & symphony orchestra in Constituion Square – 06 June 2011

Sting returns in Romania and this time will be accompanied by live band and symphony orchestra for a unique concert in Constitution Square, on June 6, 2011, in Constitution Square. The concert is part of the mega-tour Symphonicity.
After countless sold-out concert in North America and Australia, Sting will expand his tour in Europe, with shows confirmed in France, Germany, Italy and Eastern Europe.
During this tour, the artist will perform his most famous hits in a new version, re-orchestrated for an unique symphonic arrangement.
With a brilliant career that includes many platinum albums, a large number of hits, and almost 100 million albums sold worldwide, Sting returns with his best songs, reworked by Jorge Jorge Calandrella, David Hartley, Michel Legrand, Rob Mathes, Vince Mendoza, Steven Mercurio, Bill Ross, Robert and Nicola Tescari Sadin.

Scorpions finally confirmed their presence in Bucharest on June 9, 2011 at Zone Arena.

The band announced its retreat by a giant tour “Sting And Get Your Blackout World”, which has begun in March 10, 2010 in Prague and will end at the end of 2012.

Bon Jovi live in Constitution Square – 10 July 2011

Sunday, 10 July 2011, Bon Jovi will perform for the first time in Romania. The event will take place in Constitution Square in Bucharest.

With over 120 million albums sold in over 27 year career, Bon Jovi is one of the most beloved rock bands in the world.

Songs like “It’s My Life, ” “Livin ‘on a Prayer” or “Always” became true symbols of some generations that have grown with the band. Circle Tour will start on 9 February 2011 in the United States, and on June 8, 2011 the tour will move to Europe.

After the concert on July 10, 2011 in Romania, the band will continuu the tour with other 10 concerts in Europe until the end of the mounth.

Sir Reginald Kenneth Dwight, known as Elton John, was born on March 25, 1947, in Pinner, one suburb of the English capital, London.
With seven consecutive No.1 albums in the United States and six No.1 singles, Elton John has sold over 250 million albums worldwide with more than 50 Top 40 hits in nearly five decades of activity.

Form his hits, we can mention some like: “Do not Go Breaking My Heart”, “Candle in the Wind”, “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word” Feat. Blue, “I’m Still Standing”, “Sacrifice”, “Nikita” and “Something About the Way You Look Tonight”.
In 1994, Elton John became one “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” member and in 1998 he became knight.

The famous British artist Rod Stewart will perform on June 29 on the “Iolanda Balas-Soter” stadium in Bucharest. The concert is part of the promoting tour of the latest album called “Soulbook”, album which contains 13 songs and was released on October 26, 2009.Rod Stewart has released over 30 albums over his career and is one of the greatest rockers of the ’70s.
The tour includes also performances in cities such as: Stockholm, London and Tel Aviv.
